| Whether you
are renting a vehicle for business or pleasure
Orewa Rentals have the complete car rental
service to suit your needs. The vehicles are all
late models with 5 or 4 star rating. C.D, Air
Conditioning, Power Steering, and Airbags.
They are
immaculately presented and subjected to a very
high standard of regular servicing by qualified
staff in our own garage. Our rates are more than
competitive and the renting of the vehicle’s
made as simple as possible for you. |
Insurance is included
in the rates, details of which are under the heading
‘Insurance’. We welcome your inquires and endeavour
to be of assistance wherever and whenever possible.
MONTHLY RATES
For a customer requiring a car for one month or
longer, monthly rates apply. Please inquire.
SPECIAL WEEKEND HIRE
From 3pm Friday to 9am Monday
WINTER RATES
Apply from 31 May to 31 November.
PRICING
There is a minimum charge time of 24 hours. Each
hour beyond a completed day, 24 hours, is charged at
1/5 of the daily rate up to 5 hours – after
which time a
full day rate applies. Fuel is not included in the
rates, but each vehicle is supplied with a full tank
that is refilled at the renter’s expense on return.
DEPOSIT / BOND
A booking fee of $50 is required to confirm your
booking. A bond of
$1500.00 (over 25),
$2000.00
(under 25) or
$2700 (under 20)
is required at time of hire, refundable
on completion of hire. An open credit card is
preferred. Prices include GST.

CREDIT CARDS &
EFTPOS
American Express, Farmers Card, Visa,
MasterCard, Diners Club, Amway Card : All major
credit cards are accepted and EFTPOS
cards. There is a surcharge of 3.5% for Amex and
Diners.
GST
Goods and Service Tax is included in rates. |

CONDITIONS
Subject to the terms and conditions on the rental
contract. Rates are subject to change without
notice.
SUPPLEMENTARY CHARGES
Prices quoted and paid are on the understanding the
vehicles will be returned in the same condition as
issued. Any vehicle repairs, additional cleaning etc
will be at the expense of the hirer.
DRIVERS
QUALIFICATIONS
Hirers must be 25 years of age and holders of a
current New Zealand or International drivers
licence. (The hirer accepts responsibility for all
drivers see conditions on rental contract.) Drivers
must be over 18 years of age and must produce a
current driving licence.
Can I use my
overseas drivers license ?
Yes, however, if your license is not printed in
English, you will need to arrange for an
international driver's license.
INSURANCE
Insurance is included in rates. The vehicle is fully
covered, subject to clause 17 of the Hire Agreement.
Excess for Hirers over 25 years is $750.00, under 25
years is $1000.00 and under 20 years of age is
$1750.00 Prices include GST.
ACCIDENTS
We recommend all accidents be reported to the
police. If your vehicle is unsafe or unable to be
driven please arrange its tow and safe storage – the
police can assist you with this. You must record all
necessary information - see accident claim form in
the glovebox kit in the vehicle.You must notify us
within 24 hours to report the accident and the
vehicles location and status.
TYRES
Tyre punctures need to be repaired immediately at
the hirer’s expense, for other faults on tyres
contact our office.
BREAKDOWN ASSISTANCE
All of our 5* vehicles are covered by New Car
Warranties.
For our 4* vehicles we have A.A Roadside Assist.
There is a charge for a non-mechanical call out -
flat batteries (lights left on), lock out, lost keys
and changing of flat tires.

OFFICE HOURS
Monday to Friday, 7am –5.30pm. Saturday, 8am – 1pm.
Outside these hours please ring our after hours
number before 10pm (unless an emergency).
PICK UP/DROP OFF
We will pick up hirers from and deliver back to
motels and addresses within the Hibiscus Coast areas
during office hours free of charge. Outside these
areas and times a nominal fee of $25 will be
charged. Airport drop off $85.00
We also offer pick up
and drop off services with the local shuttle company
from Auckland Airport.
